How to STAND in a fallen generation

† LET GOD BE LORD OF YOUR MIND. “Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ.” (2 Corinthians 10:5)

Changing your mind takes work and focus on Christ. “Whatever is true, whatever is honest, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable; if anything is excellent or praise-worthy, think on these things.” (Philippians 4:8)

HOW TO STAND STRONG FOR CHRIST. God will help you get out of tempting situations. “But remember that the temptations that come into your life are no different from what others experience. And God is faithful. He will keep the temptation from becoming so strong that you can’t stand up against it. When you are tempted, he will show you a way out so that you will not give in to it.” (1 Corinthians 10:13)

LEARN THE BIBLE. “Study to show yourself approved unto God, a workman that does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” (2 Timothy 2:15) Reading the Bible renews your mind spiritually. “And be not conformed to this world: but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” (Rom. 12:2)

PRAY AND MAKE TIME FOR GOD EVERYDAY. “I love them that love me and those who seek me early shall find me.” (Proverbs 8:1)

This picture illustrates for us the importance of letting faith in God to champion our spiritual lives. Closely followed by the facts stated in scripture (The Holy Bible) and lastly our feelings. At times in our Christian life we might feel like “I’m not saved anymore” because of something we've done but the Bible says God is committed to us and if we repent and come back to Him, God forgives our sins and then forgets them! ( Isaiah 43:25 ) Feelings often betray us, facts can at times breed doubt but faith can move mountains. The Holy Spirit will lead us to repent from sin and urge us back to Him but Satan delights in causing guilt, and condemnation.

Don’t ever give up on God, the reward is worth the fight.  (In Heaven) “God shall wipe away all tears from your eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: the former things are passed away.” (Revelation 21:4)
